We’re passionate about wireless technologies and the idea that wireless will contribute towards a better tomorrow. We provide smart solutions for companies of all sizes and pride ourselves on our dedicated service.
Since 1999 we have been providing our services to small and large businesses, mine sites, Schools, Councils, Colleges and other licensed telecommunications carriers.
Initially, we helped AirNet build one of the first fixed wireless networks using modified 802.11 technology in 2000. We also designed and delivered one of the first successful high density WLANs with location tracking for World Congress in IT 2002 (mNet/AirNet). Using the left over access points from the World Congress for IT we helped initiate and champion one of the worlds first city wide WiFi networks (Citilan) in Adelaide way back in 2002. This required building custom enclosures and antennas so the base stations could be placed on street furniture down Rundle Mall.
In 2005, Eclectic purchased AirNet's fixed wireless network and installed fixed wireless and ipStar broadband satellite services to 65 public schools in metropolitan and indigenous remote areas in South Australia as part of the eduConnect project.
Access to the Eclectic Fixed Wireless Network is available via wholesale arrangements or by invitation.

INTERNET OF THINGS TECHNOLOGY
Whilst 802.11 was a disruptive technology a couple of decades ago. We are now involved with installing and maintaining a SigFox network in South Australia. This is the latest and most up-to-date technology in Low Powered Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) and the Internet of Things (IoT).
We believe that some of our IoT solutions will soon become one of the biggest segments in the industry. We’ve only just started, but we already know that every product we build requires hard-earned skills, dedication and a daring attitude.
